Minimally Invasive Anterior Total Hip Replacement

This 58-year-old woman was told she needed extensive spine surgery. She was referred to Dr. Geller for a second opinion. She had severe avascular necrosis of right femoral head. Dr. Geller did a minimally invasive anterior total hip replacement. She was discharged home after one night in hospital. Previous to surgery, she needed a walker to ambulate, but she is now walking unassisted—post-operation.
